How Finn works
Memory
What Finn remembers about you and your business, and how you can see and edit it.
Most AI forgets you the moment the chat ends. Finn builds up a memory of your business, your people and the way you like to work, and it gets more useful every month.
The layers of Finn's memory
- Working memory. The conversation you're in, plus a fresh load of your company's context on every turn.
- Conversation memory. A summary of every past conversation, including voice and video calls, with the decisions made and anything left open. Ask "where did we leave off?" and she knows.
- Company memory. A private wiki per company that Finn writes and curates herself: your preferences ("always put the Adobe subscription under software"), decisions and whether they were taken, your key people, your goals, the answers to questions that keep coming up.
- Personal memory. A profile of you that follows you across every company you have: what to call you, plain English or accounting terms, short answers or detail, numbers first or not, the channel and time of day you usually use.
- Business profile. What you sell, how money comes in, your customers, your team, your busy season and what keeps you up at night, gathered one question at a time.
- Meeting memory. Notes from meetings, filed into the right company's memory.
Shared memory: multiplayer by default
Your books are a team sport. Invite your co-founder, your finance lead or your accountant, and everyone works on one set of books with one Finn. What your colleague told Finn yesterday, Finn knows today. Nobody has to repeat themselves.
Curated, not hoarded
- Finn rewrites a memory page when something changes, so memory stays clean and current instead of piling up.
- She remembers conclusions, never live figures. "February is always your strongest month" goes in memory; the actual numbers always come fresh from the ledger, so memory can never go stale on a number.
- Instructions hidden inside a document or a message are never stored as memory.
You can see it
Everything Finn remembers about your business is on your Memory page. Read it, correct it, or add to it.
