Reports: common questions

Can Finn get a number wrong in a report?

Finn never types figures into a report. Every number is read from your books by the system when the report is built, and Finn's own words are checked against those numbers before the report is saved. If your books are wrong, the report shows that, so fix the books and press Refresh.

Who can see a shared link?

Anyone you send the link to. It shows the report as it was when you shared it, never your live books, and it is hidden from search engines. Set it to expire or turn it off whenever you like.

Can I use my own branding?

Yes. Add your logo, colours, strapline and contact details in Settings, under Brand. New reports carry them, and you can switch the brand off for any single report.

What formats can I download?

PDF, Word, Excel and Markdown for every report, and CSV for reports with a table.

I'm an accountant. Can I send reports to my clients?

Yes. Build the report while you're working on the client, then send it from the card under it. It goes from your practice, in your practice's name, and a copy is saved in the client's Document hub.

Does it cost extra?

No. Reports are included in every plan.
