Running a limited company

Salary, dividends and the loan account, straight.

Run payroll and Finn calculates the pay and produces payslips. Record a dividend and it generates the paperwork. Ask about your director's loan account and get the actual balance.

  • Payroll calculated and payslips generated
  • Dividend paperwork generated from the dividend record
  • A live director's loan account balance
  • Annual accounts and Corporation Tax prepared for you or your accountant to file

Finn on the app

What's my director's loan account balance?

The company owes you £860.00. Want this year's dividend tax rates before you decide anything?

Working as a sole trader

Just what a sole trader needs, at half the price.

No company paperwork, because you don't have any. Finn sorts your receipts, chases your invoices and works out your Self Assessment as the year goes.

  • Receipts forwarded or snapped, filed against the right payment
  • Invoices raised, late payers chased, payments matched
  • Your Self Assessment position worked out as you go
  • £10/month, everything included

Finn on the app

Roughly what will my tax bill be this year?

Based on the books so far, here's your Self Assessment estimate and what's left of your allowances.

FAQ

Founders: common questions

Limited company or sole trader, which plan do I need?

If you run a UK limited company, it's £20/month. If you're self-employed as a sole trader, it's £10/month. Both start with 14 days free, no card needed.

Does Finn file things without asking me?

No. Finn prepares the work and you sign it off. Your VAT return goes to HMRC once you've approved it.

Is Corporation Tax filed for me?

Finn works out the figures and prepares your annual accounts and CT600 workpapers. You or your accountant files them.

Do I still need an accountant?

Plenty of founders run AccountsOS on their own. If you already work with an accountant, Finn keeps the books current and hands them clean figures.

How do I get started?
