Get AccountsOS
Finn, everywhere you work.
One AI accountant, three ways in: a desktop app that's just Finn (direct download, no app store), a Chrome extension that reads whatever's on your screen, and a mobile app on the way.
Free downloads. Same account, same books, on every surface.
Desktop app (beta)
Finn on your desktop. One click from anywhere.
A lightweight window that's just Finn: chat with your books, drop in receipts, raise invoices and check what's due, without opening a browser or the full dashboard.
Mac (Apple silicon)
M1/M2/M3/M4, most Macs since 2021 (.dmg)
Mac (Intel)
Intel Macs, pre-2021 (.dmg)
Windows
Windows 10/11, 64-bit (.msi)
Beta builds are not code-signed yet: on Mac, right-click the app and choose Open the first time; on Windows, choose More info, then Run anyway. Installers are served directly from AccountsOS over HTTPS. Prefer the .exe installer on Windows? Download the setup .exe.
Chrome extension (free)
Finn beside whatever you're looking at
Open Finn next to Xero, QuickBooks, a bank statement, an invoice or a spreadsheet. Finn reads the screen and tells you what stands out, with cited sources. No account needed to try it.
Mobile app (coming soon)
Finn in your pocket
Chat with Finn, snap receipts and stay on top of deadlines from your phone. Coming to iOS and Android. Until then, Finn already works on the go via WhatsApp and Telegram.
Just Finn
No dashboard, no tabs: a clean window with your conversations and Finn. Ask anything you'd ask in the web app; every tool works.
Same books
It's your normal account. Receipts you drop in, invoices you raise, questions you ask: all in the same books as the web, WhatsApp and email.
Nothing stored locally
The app is a window onto your account. Your data stays in AccountsOS, so reinstalling or switching machines loses nothing.
Questions
Before you install
Is the desktop app different from the web app?
Same Finn, same books, same account. The desktop app is a lightweight window onto the chat, no dashboard around it, so Finn sits in your dock all day. Anything you do in one shows up in the other instantly.
Why does my Mac say the app is from an unidentified developer?
The beta builds aren't code-signed yet. Right-click the app and choose Open the first time. After that it opens normally. Signed builds are coming.
Why does Windows SmartScreen warn me?
Same reason: the beta installer isn't signed yet. Click More info, then Run anyway. The installer is served directly from us over HTTPS.
Do I need an account?
The desktop app signs into your normal AccountsOS account (sign in with email and password; Google sign-in works best in the browser for now). The Chrome extension works without an account, so you can try Finn on any page first. New here? Create your free account and the 14-day trial applies as usual.
How do desktop updates work?
During the beta, grab the latest installer from this page. Your data lives in your account, not the app, so reinstalling loses nothing.
New to AccountsOS?
Create your free account first (14-day trial, no card up front), then sign in from the desktop app.
