FAQ

The questions people ask first

When will Apple Messages be available?

It is built and waiting on Apple's approval of the experience, which includes a person being reachable in the thread during UK office hours. We will say when it is live. Until then Finn is on WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack and email.

Does Apple share my phone number with AccountsOS?

No. Apple Messages for Business gives us an anonymous address for your conversation, never your number or Apple ID. You link it to your account with a one-time code that Messages fills in for you.

Can I talk to a real person?

Yes. Ask for a person and someone on the AccountsOS team replies in the same thread, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm UK time. Finn steps back until they hand the conversation back.

Can I approve a VAT return from Messages?

You can see the return and the working in Messages. The filing itself happens in the app with your approval, so nothing goes to HMRC from a chat.
