The questions people ask first
Do I need to set up an API key or a developer app?
No. Attio is connected with your normal Attio login through Attio's official server. You approve access once and you are done.
Will importing create duplicate contacts?
No. Every imported record is matched against your existing contacts by email, name, and Finn's judgement, and stamped so a re-import updates the same contact instead of adding a second one.
Which records come across, and does it go both ways?
Contacts are two-way: your Attio companies and people become AccountsOS contacts, and contacts you add or edit in AccountsOS mirror back into Attio (linked, so nothing duplicates). Deal context is pulled read-only, per deal, when you sync it onto your pipeline.
Is my Attio data used to train anything?
No. Finn reads your records to do the work in front of it. Your data is not used to train models.
