6 AM UTC cron rechecks Companies House daily, and any change is surfaced in the audit log.

Open Companies House in AccountsOS, pick the change and fill in the steps. You check the summary and confirm before anything is sent.

The filing shows Accepted or Rejected once Companies House replies. When it is accepted, your directors, PSCs and address refresh from the register.

Can I file changes with Companies House from AccountsOS?

Yes, for UK limited companies: appoint a director (AP01), remove a director (TM01), change the registered office (AD01), add, change or remove an individual person with significant control (PSC01, PSC04, PSC07), file a confirmation statement when nothing has changed, and file approved micro-entity accounts. You review and confirm each filing before it is sent.

What can't I file from AccountsOS yet?

A confirmation statement with changes in it, changes to a director's details, company secretaries, corporate PSCs and share capital changes. File those on Companies House WebFiling.

Does a new director need to verify their identity?

Yes. Companies House asks for the new director's 11 character personal code, which they get by verifying their identity on GOV.UK. A confirmation statement also needs every active director to be verified.

What does it pull?

Incorporation date, company type, registered address, directors and officers, PSC details, SIC codes, all filing deadlines (confirmation statement, accounts, CT), and status.

How often does it sync?

Daily, via 6 AM UTC cron, plus a manual 'Sync Now' button for instant refresh. After a filing is accepted, the record refreshes straight away.

What if my CRN is wrong?

You'll get a warning at signup if the number doesn't validate against the Companies House register. Update in Settings.

Does this work for non-UK companies?

This integration is UK-specific. For US, IE, AE, BG and others we don't have public-record sync today: you enter details manually. Country-specific registries on roadmap.
