AccountsOS now connects to bank accounts and credit cards in the United States and Canada. Founders and accounting practices in North America can connect business accounts and credit cards at major banks, including Chase, Wells Fargo, Citi, RBC, CIBC, BMO, TD, Scotiabank and Amex, using their normal online banking login. Transactions sync daily and Finn, the AI accountant, categorises and reconciles them, so nobody uploads a statement again. A person still reviews and signs.

Last updated: November 2026

AccountsOS already works in 32 countries, including the US and Canada. What North American users have been missing is a direct bank feed. Until this week that meant exporting statements and uploading them. Direct bank feeds fix that.

What is changing

  • Direct bank feeds in the US and Canada. Connect accounts and credit cards at the big banks: Chase, Wells Fargo, Citi and others in the US, and RBC, CIBC, BMO, TD, Scotiabank and Amex in Canada.
  • Your normal login. Works with your normal online banking login. Separate business portals like RBC Express aren't covered yet.
  • Daily sync. New transactions come in every day.
  • Finn does the books. Finn categorises each transaction and reconciles it against your accounts. Anything Finn is unsure about is flagged for you.

For founders: your books, finished

If you run a company in the US or Canada, this is the part you used to do on a Sunday night. Download a statement, upload it, match the lines, guess the categories.

With a bank feed, Finn does that work as transactions arrive. You open AccountsOS and see what came in, what Finn has already handled, and the few items that need a quick answer from you. Then you review and sign.

How to connect your bank

  1. Open your company in AccountsOS and go to Integrations, then Bank connections.
  2. Choose US and Canada bank feeds and pick your bank.
  3. Sign in with your normal online banking login and choose the accounts and cards to share.
  4. Finn imports your recent history and starts categorising.

For practices: every client feed in one place

If your practice looks after clients in North America, each client company can connect its own banks. Finn prepares the books across your whole client list, and your team reviews and signs off. No more chasing clients for monthly statements.

How it works

AccountsOS uses a regulated bank connection provider to connect to banks in the US and Canada. When you connect, you sign in to your bank through a secure connection window. AccountsOS never sees or stores your banking password. Only read-only transaction and balance data is shared with AccountsOS, and you can disconnect at any time from Bank connections.

Once connected, transactions sync daily. Finn categorises them using your chart of accounts and what it has learned about your business, then reconciles them. Pending transactions are picked up once they post.

FAQ

Which banks are supported?

Accounts and credit cards at the big US and Canadian banks, including Chase, Wells Fargo and Citi in the US, and RBC, CIBC, BMO, TD, Scotiabank and Amex in Canada, plus many others.

Does it work with business banking portals like RBC Express or TD Web Business?

Not today. Connections use the bank's standard online banking login. Dedicated business banking portals such as RBC Express, TD Web Business and ScotiaConnect are not covered. You can still upload statements for those accounts.

How often do transactions sync?

Daily.

Can AccountsOS move money?

No. The connection is read-only. It brings transactions and balances in so Finn can do the books.

Do I still need someone to sign off?

Yes. Finn prepares the books and a person reviews and signs.

Is this available in other countries?

AccountsOS is live in 32 countries and already supports bank connections in many of them. This update is about the US and Canada.

When can I use it?

Now. Go to Integrations, then Bank connections, and choose US and Canada bank feeds.
