How it works

How it works

01

One page, every number that matters

Work outstanding by stage, overdue jobs, on-time filing, fees under management, revenue by service and chasing response times, all in one place.

02

Twelve weeks of trend

On-time filing rate and fees under management plotted over the last twelve weeks, so a slide shows up before it becomes a problem.

03

Finn's line at the top

A plain-English summary of what actually changed this week, worked out from the numbers, not written by hand.

04

A weekly email, and an export

The same tiles land in your inbox every Monday, and any week can be exported to CSV for your own records or your accountant's accountant.

  • Work outstanding by stage, overdue jobs called out
  • Deadlines filed on time vs late, last 90 days
  • Fees under management and revenue by service
  • Clients gained and lost, last 90 days
  • Month-ends closed by the 10th, and capacity next month

FAQ

The questions accountants ask first

Where do these numbers come from?

The same places you'd already trust: the jobs board, your deadlines, client fees, chase history and month-end closes. The dashboard reads them, it doesn't ask you to enter anything separately.

Is Finn's line just a generic AI summary?

No. It is worked out deterministically by comparing this week's numbers to last week's stored snapshot: what changed, by how much, in plain English. The same inputs always produce the same line.

Can I get this without logging in every Monday?

Yes. A weekly email lands with the same tiles and Finn's line, so you see it without opening the dashboard, and you can mute it from practice settings if you'd rather not.

Can I get the raw numbers out?

Yes. Every tile exports to CSV from the dashboard, in minor units and currency, for your own records or handing to your accountant's accountant.

Can my staff see this?

The firm dashboard is owner and admin only, the same as economics and team. Staff work their own desk and don't need the whole-firm view.
