How it works
How it works
Practice: the whole product
For live clients you actively work on. £12 per live client, with volume discounts above 100 clients.
Ledger: dormant files
For dormant and low-activity files you only touch at year end. CSV import, journals and financial statements, from £1.50 per file, any volume.
Archive stops the charge
Archive a client and it stays in your book, unbilled, with nothing running on it until you restore it. Restore lands back on Full.

FAQ
The questions accountants ask first
What actually stops running when a client is archived?
Everything automated: overnight categorisation, reconciliation, deadline reminders and batch prep all skip an archived client. Nothing is deleted and the file stays in your book, ready to restore.
What is on Ledger that is not on Full?
Ledger covers CSV and PDF statement import, journals and adjustments, fixed assets and depreciation, and financial statements for year end. It does not include automated bank feeds, VAT and tax filing, invoicing or payroll, which are Full-tier only.
Can we move a client back to Full once it wakes up?
Yes, from the client's row at any time. The switch takes effect immediately and billing follows the new scope from that day.
Is there a minimum number of clients or a monthly floor?
No. Both tiers price from client 1, with no monthly minimum. Practice is £12 per live client with volume discounts as the book grows; Ledger is from £1.50 per file, any volume.
Does archiving a client remove their history?
No. Archiving stops billing and stops automation. The books, documents and history stay exactly as they were until you restore the client to Full.
