Prepare with Finn

A quarter of VAT returns, prepared in one go. Up to 200 clients a run.

Pick a deadline group, up to 200 clients at a time, and Finn works through the whole thing: reconciling the bank, drafting the VAT return or annual accounts, or diffing the confirmation statement against the live Companies House register. Then it tells you where every client stands.

Nothing is filed, nothing is sent to a client, until you say so.

How it works

How it works

01

Pick a deadline group

Choose a group of up to 200 clients sharing a deadline: a VAT quarter, an annual accounts group, or a confirmation statement batch.

02

Finn works every client

For each client, Finn reconciles the bank and drafts the return or the accounts, or diffs the confirmation statement against the live Companies House register.

03

Ready or Blocked, named

Every client comes back Ready, with the return drafted and waiting for review, or Blocked, with the specific reason: unreconciled transactions, missing VAT registration details, register changes to confirm.

04

One digest, your review

The digest lands in your inbox when the run finishes. You review, file and sign each one. Finn never files on its own.

  • Sweeps up to 200 clients in one run
  • Covers VAT returns, annual accounts and confirmation statements
  • Ready clients arrive with the return drafted for review
  • Blocked clients name the exact blocker, not a vague warning
  • Confirmation statements diff the live Companies House register and name what changed
  • Nothing is filed or sent to a client until you confirm it

FAQ

The questions accountants ask first

Does Finn file anything on its own during a batch run?

No. A batch run drafts and flags. Filing a VAT return, submitting a confirmation statement or finalising annual accounts always waits for you to review and confirm, client by client.

What does a Blocked client actually tell me?

The specific reason, named: "12 unreconciled transactions in the period", "VAT registration details are missing", "2 register changes since the last statement". Never a generic needs attention flag.

Why cap a run at 200 clients?

It keeps a single run reviewable in one sitting and keeps the per-run job bounded. A book larger than that runs the deadline group across more than one batch.

Does a Ready client's draft need re-checking, or can it just be filed?

It still needs your review. Ready means the books were clean enough for Finn to produce a complete draft, not that the return is approved. You are the one who files and signs it.

What happens to clients that are not part of the deadline group I picked?

Nothing. A batch run only touches the clients in the group you selected for that specific deadline, so it will not surface or draft anything for clients outside it.
