Customer due diligence, not a spreadsheet

Every director and beneficial owner, checked and on file, with a documented risk assessment Finn drafts from the register and you confirm. Ongoing monitoring flags an expiring check or a register change before it lapses, so nothing depends on remembering.

Automated identity and screening checks are coming. Today you record the check you ran and file the evidence, the risk assessment and register are live.

AML and KYC on AccountsOS: Identity checks recorded, risk assessed by Finn and confirmed by you, monitored on one register.

How it works

How it works

01

Finn lists who needs checking

Every director and officer from the Companies House register, pulled onto the client automatically.

02

Record the check you ran

Identity, PEP and sanctions, address. File the evidence against the person, dated and kept.

03

Finn drafts the risk assessment

Low, medium or high, with reasons from the register: sector, incorporation date, officers, country. You confirm before it counts.

04

Monitored, not filed and forgotten

A check expiring, or the register changing, re-opens the review and lands on your desk.

  • Every director and officer listed automatically from the Companies House register.
  • Record identity, PEP/sanctions and address checks with the evidence filed and dated.
  • Finn drafts the risk assessment from real register facts, never invented, you confirm before it's assessed.
  • A register change re-drafts the assessment and flags it for a fresh confirm.
  • One register across your whole client book: CDD status, risk level, last and next review.

AccountsOS · Every client's CDD, one register

The practice AML register showing every client with their CDD status, risk level, last review and next review dates, filterable and exportable

FAQ

The questions accountants ask first

Does this replace SmartSearch or Credas?

Not yet. Today you record the check you ran elsewhere and file the evidence against the client. Automated identity and PEP/sanctions checks through a provider are coming. The risk assessment, evidence register and expiry reminders are live now.

Can Finn set a client's risk level on its own?

No. Finn drafts a level with reasons from the register, but it is never stored as assessed until a practitioner confirms it, editable if you disagree.

What happens if I haven't finished CDD on a client yet?

The client's CDD status shows not started or in progress on your desk and the register. An owner or admin can override with a documented reason if you need to proceed anyway.

Where does PSC information come from?

Directors and officers come from the Companies House register automatically. Persons of significant control aren't synced yet, add one by hand and their checks are tracked the same way.

What triggers a re-assessment?

A change on the Companies House register, an officer appointed or resigned, that Finn's confirmation-statement diff already detects. The current assessment is superseded and a fresh draft waits for your confirm.
