How it works

How it works

01

Finn finds it

Every quarter, Finn checks each client's numbers against the calculators founders already use: salary vs dividend, pension annual allowance, VAT scheme, cash and tax set-aside.

02

You check the number

Open the finding on the client's home. The figure is real, from that client's own ledger, not a generic benchmark.

03

Finn drafts the memo

One click opens Finn with the memo already framed. It goes out in your practice's name, Finn named as the assistant who prepared the numbers.

04

You sign and send

Nothing goes to a client until you've reviewed it and pressed send. Finn never files, never signs.

  • Salary/dividend mix flagged only when the saving is worth the conversation
  • Pension headroom against this year's profit and what's already been contributed
  • VAT scheme check comparing the last four quarters under both schemes
  • Cash position after 30 days' committed outflows and tax set-aside
  • Run one client from their home, or sweep the whole book in one go

AccountsOS · One click drafts the memo

The Finn chat dock prefilled with a draft advisory memo request for a client finding, ready for the practitioner to review and send

FAQ

The questions accountants ask first

Is this tax advice?

Finn prepares the numbers and drafts the memo. You review it, amend anything that needs your judgement, sign it and remain responsible for the advice, the same as any memo your practice sends today.

Where do the numbers come from?

The client's own ledger: the same P&L, VAT periods and cash position AccountsOS already holds for them. No separate data entry.

Does this send anything automatically?

No. Finn drafts, you review and press send. The sweep across the book works the same way, findings land as a digest for you to work through.

What if a finding doesn't apply?

It won't show. A salary/dividend finding only appears for entities that can pay dividends, a VAT scheme check only when the scheme rate is known.

Do I need to set anything up?

No. It runs on the ledger you already hold for every active client.
