Granola Meeting Notes to Sales Pipeline: Stop Retyping Your Call Notes
AccountsOS now connects to Granola so your AI meeting notes update your sales pipeline automatically. Finn reads the notes and proposes deal updates β you just confirm.
Quick Answer
Connect Granola to AccountsOS in Settings > Integrations. On any deal, tap 'Sync from Granola' and Finn reads your meeting notes, then proposes deal value, confidence, next action, and stage changes β you confirm each one.
You had the call. Granola wrote the notes. The CRM is still stale.
That gap β between notes that exist and a pipeline that reflects reality β is where most founders lose track of deals. Not because they don't care, but because updating the pipeline is a second job that happens after the actual work of talking to people.
We've connected AccountsOS to Granola to close that gap. Your meeting notes now flow directly into your deals.
How does the Granola integration work?
Granola is an AI meeting notepad that automatically captures and structures your call notes. Once connected to AccountsOS, it becomes one half of a pipeline update loop:
- You have a discovery or follow-up call β Granola captures the notes automatically
- On the deal in AccountsOS, you tap "Sync from Granola"
- AccountsOS searches your Granola meetings for notes matching the deal's contact or company name
- Finn reads those notes and proposes updates to the deal record
- You confirm the ones you agree with β or skip any that don't fit
That's it. No copy-paste, no tab-switching, no retyping numbers from a transcript.
How do I connect Granola?
One-click OAuth in Settings > Integrations. There are no API keys to configure. Once connected, the integration is linked to your user account and works across all your companies in AccountsOS.
AccountsOS has read-only access to your Granola meetings. Nothing is written back to Granola.
What does Finn actually propose?
Finn reads the meeting notes and produces a structured set of proposed changes. For each one, it shows you the rationale β a short explanation of what in the notes led to the suggestion.
Typical proposals after a discovery call:
- Deal value β "They mentioned a team of 12, which puts this in the Β£10,000β15,000 range based on your standard pricing"
- Confidence β "They asked for a proposal and gave a decision date. Moving to High."
- Next action β "Send proposal by Friday 13 June"
- Pipeline stage β "Move from Discovery to Proposal"
- Follow-up tasks β "Book a technical review call with their operations lead"
You review each proposal and confirm or skip. Finn never auto-applies anything to a deal. The final state of the record is always your decision.
A worked example
Say you run a SaaS consultancy and you've just had a discovery call with a founder at a 15-person agency.
You had a 45-minute call. You discussed their current setup, their pain points with manual reporting, and what a project might look like. Granola captured the whole thing.
Here's what Finn might propose after syncing the notes:
- Update deal value to Β£12,000 β "They described a 3-month engagement covering two integrations and a reporting layer. Your standard rate puts this at Β£12,000."
- Raise confidence to High β "They have budget approved and a board presentation in July that this project feeds into. Clear urgency and internal champion."
- Next action: Send proposal by Friday 13 June β "They explicitly asked for a written proposal before end of week."
- Move to Proposal stage β "Discovery is complete; they're ready to review a scope."
- Task: Follow up with their ops lead β "They mentioned their operations manager would need to sign off technically. Worth a separate introduction."
You tap confirm on the ones that match what you remember from the call, skip anything that doesn't fit, and the deal is up to date in under a minute.
Is it read-only?
Yes. AccountsOS only reads from Granola. Your meeting notes are never modified, and nothing from your pipeline is written back to Granola.
What if I don't have Granola?
If you don't use Granola, you can paste raw notes directly into any deal β a Zoom transcript, notes from a notebook, a rough summary you typed straight after the call. Finn runs the same analysis and produces the same proposals. The integration just removes the copy-paste step for Granola users.
We've also built an equivalent integration for Notion. If your team keeps call notes in Notion pages, the flow is identical β see how the Notion integration works.
Why does this matter beyond saving time?
The bigger problem isn't the 3 minutes it takes to update a deal. It's that most founders don't do it at all, so the pipeline goes stale. A stale pipeline means:
- Your weighted forecast is fiction
- You forget what was said and follow up late or badly
- You can't see which deals are actually moving and which are stuck
When notes flow in automatically, the pipeline stays true without discipline or habit change. You just have the call and let the system catch up.
And because the pipeline in AccountsOS sits next to the books, a closed deal becomes an invoice in the same tool. Finn sees the whole journey β first call to cash in the bank β without you re-entering anything.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to set up API keys?
No. It's one-click OAuth in Settings > Integrations. You log in with your Granola account and that's it.
Which meetings does Finn search?
When you tap "Sync from Granola" on a deal, Finn searches your recent Granola meetings for ones that match the deal's contact name or company name. It surfaces the most relevant ones and reads those.
Can I sync the same deal more than once?
Yes. After a follow-up call, you can sync again and Finn will read the latest notes. It adds new activity and proposes any further updates to the deal. Previous confirmed updates stay as they are.
What if the notes don't contain enough to make a proposal?
Finn will tell you. If the meeting notes are a brief check-in with no meaningful deal signals, Finn will say so rather than inventing proposals. You can still log a manual activity note.
Does this work if I have multiple companies in AccountsOS?
Yes. The Granola connection is per user, so it works across all your companies. Deal sync always applies to the company whose deal you're working on.
Is this included in the standard plan?
Yes. The Granola integration is available on all paid plans. Start a 14-day free trial and connect Granola from day one.
The Granola integration is live now. See how it works, then connect it in Settings > Integrations and try a sync on your next deal.
If you use Notion for call notes, take a look at how the Notion integration works. Same outcome, different source.
