Do I need an özel entegratör to use this?

No. AccountsOS connects directly to GİB's e-Arşiv system using your own portal credentials. There is no third party and no integrator fee.

Where do I get my GİB e-Arşiv Portal login?

From the Interactive Tax Office (İnteraktif Vergi Dairesi) at ivd.gib.gov.tr. If your accountant set up your tax affairs, they will have the credentials.

Is the invoice legally valid?

Yes. The invoice is created on GİB's own system, receives an official document number from GİB, and is issued when you approve it with the SMS code GİB sends to your registered phone.

Which businesses can use it?

Businesses that issue e-Arşiv invoices, which is every Turkish taxpayer not registered on the e-Fatura network. That covers the vast majority of freelancers, sole traders and small companies.

What if my business is registered on the e-Fatura network?

e-Fatura network sellers exchange invoices differently and are not covered yet. AccountsOS tells you honestly if that applies to you. e-Fatura support is on the roadmap.

What does it cost?

Can I issue invoices in currencies other than lira?

Yes, foreign-currency invoices are supported. KDV rules and the TRY conversion requirements still apply and AccountsOS flags anything that needs your attention.

Is my GİB password safe?

Credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before storage, the same standard we use for HMRC tokens in the UK. You can disconnect at any time, and no invoice is ever issued without your SMS approval.
