How does AccountsOS connect to Revolut Business?

Directly through Revolut's own Business API, no Open Banking aggregator sits in between. AccountsOS generates a certificate for your company, you add it in your Revolut Business settings, and you approve read-only access inside Revolut. Setup takes about 5 minutes and is copy-paste only.

Is the connection read-only?

Yes. The connection requests READ scope only, AccountsOS can see balances and transactions but can never move your money. The certificate belongs to your company and is stored encrypted; you can revoke access at any time from Revolut or AccountsOS.

Does it reconcile payments against invoices automatically?

Yes. Every sync that brings in new transactions automatically dispatches a reconciliation run. Incoming payments are matched to open invoices and marked paid, spending is matched to receipts and bills, and confident matches post to your ledger. Anything ambiguous waits in a review queue, you only see exceptions.

Which Revolut accounts sync?

All of them. Every currency account in your Revolut Business, GBP, EUR, USD and the rest, becomes its own bank account in AccountsOS, and currency exchanges are recorded correctly on both sides.

Can I ask Finn about my Revolut account?

Yes. Ask Finn 'check my bank', 'has the payment from Acme landed?', or 'what's my Revolut balance?', Finn pulls fresh transactions on demand and reads back the balance your banking app shows, not an estimate.

What balance does AccountsOS show?

The balance Revolut reports, the same figure as your Revolut app. Statement-upload accounting tools can only show a running total of imported transactions; a direct feed shows the real number.

Do I need a specific Revolut Business plan?

The Business API is available on Revolut's paid plans (Grow and above). The connection itself is free in AccountsOS, it's included as a connector on every plan.

Can AccountsOS pay my bills from Revolut?

Coming soon. Approved bills will create payment drafts in Revolut that you release with one tap in your Revolut app, the money authorisation always stays with your bank.
