How VAT (Thailand) works in Thailand
Because the 7% depends on a decree, Finn always says the date it runs to. Exports are zero-rated and some supplies are exempt. A business must register once turnover goes over 1.8 million baht a year.

P.P.30 is the monthly VAT return. Every VAT registrant files it for each calendar month, with any VAT due, by the 15th of the following month, even when there were no sales.
A full tax invoice is the document a VAT-registered seller issues. The buyer needs a valid tax invoice to claim the input VAT on its own P.P.30.
A business that regularly sells goods or services in Thailand must register for VAT once its annual turnover exceeds 1.8 million baht, before trading or within 30 days of crossing the threshold.
