Who this applies to
- Company limited and public company limited
- Limited partnerships and registered ordinary partnerships
- Branches of foreign companies
What to file
Form P.N.D.50 with the audited financial statements, showing net profit and CIT at 20% (or the SME rates of 0% and 15% on the first 3 million baht where both conditions are met).
How to file
On paper at a Revenue Department office or online through the Revenue Department's e-Filing system. AccountsOS does not submit to the Revenue Department. You or your accountant file.
Payment due
With the return. Tax paid with P.N.D.51 is credited against it.
Penalties for missing this deadline
Unpaid tax carries a surcharge of 1.5% per month, and part of a month counts as a month. A fine can also apply; confirm the amount with the Revenue Department or your accountant.
Filing checklist
- Close the books and have the statements audited
- Check both SME conditions before using the SME rates
- Add back entertainment above the 0.3% cap
- Credit the P.N.D.51 tax and any tax withheld from your income
- File and keep the receipt
Documents you'll need
- Audited financial statements
- Tax computation from accounting profit to net profit
- P.N.D.51 receipt and 50 Tawi certificates received
Common mistakes to avoid
- Using the SME rates when paid-up capital is over 5 million baht
- Missing the 150-day date because the year-end is not 31 December
- Treating a Finn estimate as a filed return
