How SIREN and numéro de TVA works in France
The SIREN comes from the Registre national des entreprises (RNE) and is public. The SIRET adds 5 digits for each establishment. A person's numéro fiscal is a separate 13-digit number on their tax documents.
AccountsOS reads the SIREN from the public company register data to fill in company details and checks that the VAT number on an invoice matches it.
