The Uganda Registration Services Bureau, which incorporates companies, registers business names and partnerships and receives annual returns.

A single member company files its annual return with URSB within 42 days after its annual general meeting.

## How URSB (Uganda) works in Uganda

Companies are registered under the Companies Act, 2012 and the Companies Regulations, 2023. A foreign company must register with URSB within 30 days of establishing a place of business in Uganda.
